Park Lane Stud

The Park Lane Stud is located at the Rural Industries Campus Wangaratta. Under the management of Ian Horwood, the Stud is redefining its potential. It provides specialised services at competitive rates and will continue to meet the demands of clients. It guarantees exceptional customer service offering personal individualised care for all horses and clients.

This commercially operating stud also provides NCEE students with hands-on quality training up to Diploma level facilitated by industry experienced trainers and assessors. The NCEE aims to produce graduates that are preferred by industry.

Staff include practicing equine veterinarians and nurses, experienced horse breeders and trainers, as well as professional alliances with leading farriers, equine dentists and veterinary hospitals.

The Stud Facilities

The Stud incorporates an excellent stable complex, including loose boxes and an indoor arena, 60 acres of fenced pasture and 20 thoroughbred mares and stallion. Industry standard equipment is used for all practical training and stud work.

The Stud has 24 hour on-call access to veterinarians and 24 hour supervision during the foaling season.
