Partnerships & Affiliations
The National Centre for Equine Education (NCEE) has strong support from the Equine Industry. It has an established network of equine professionals including veterinary clinics, racing stables, equestrian centres, and leading studs in regional North East Victoria. The NCEE also has international affiliations.
Equestrian Federation of Australia (EFA)
The NCEE has an affiliation with the Equestrian Federation of Australia Incorporated (EFA), providing students with a direct pathway to EFA NCAS training.
Students studying subjects from the Certificate II in Equine Industry with the NCEE can now choose to receive credits towards the Horse Management requirements for EFA NCAS Certificates.
North East Thoroughbred Industry Alliance (NETIA)
The NCEE is a member of the North East Thoroughbred Industry Alliance (NETIA). NETIA's vision is to have the North East Region recognised as Victoria's premier thoroughbred homeland. It aims to bring together people involved or interested in thoroughbred breeding and to promote and market the thoroughbred industry in the North East Region of Victoria, including supporting ancillary services and activities and raise money for those purposes. Members of NETIA receive regular information updates, & are able to attend industry functions such as seminars, conferences and various activities.
As a regional training provider of the Horse Breeding Sector, the NCEE have a strong association with NETIA. The NCEE works collectively with NETIA, the Mitchell and Strathbogie Shires, Regional Development Victoria (RDV), and the North East Throroughbred Breeders of Victoria (NETVB) to further strengthen the Thoroughbred Industry in the North East.
Recently, a North East Thoroughbred Industry Cluster Committee was formed, the first cluster within the equine industry. Members of the NCEE & North East Thoroughbred Breeders of Victoria (NETBV) act as an Education Subcommittee for the Cluster.
NETBV also act as an important Industry Reference Group for the NCEE, advising on issues relating to vocational education and training for the NCEE Horse Breeding Students.

Practical Training Centres
The NCEE has Practical Training Centres in regional areas across Victoria and in Tasmania. Students in the Certificate II in Equine Industry and Certificate II in Agriculture (Horse Breeding) can have their practical assessment conducted at these Centres.
