The NCEE are proud to offer students the opportunity to develop skills in both the equine breeding and equine performance horse industries.

This amazing opportunity offers excellent employment potential in a vast array of equine related careers, and is open to students at any equine skill level.

Students are immersed into practical learning at the new purpose-built equine training facilities at the Rural Industries Campus, Wangaratta.

The first year of study is fulltime learning and working with horses at the campus.

In the second year, students undertake work within industry. Students can choose to concentrate on a specialized area within the breeding and performance horse industry, achieving one Diploma qualification. Or students can continue their broader study, achieving a dual qualification.

The opportunities to achieve are huge! The equine industries give generous support to NCEE students through a variety of awards and scholarships at all stages of study, including the prestigious Robert Sangster Family Scholarship to the Irish National Stud.

Graduates have the opportunity to continue their studies into equine degree programs at university, or higher educational agricultural studies.

For more experienced applicants, courses may be undertaken through flexible study. Recognition of existing skills and experience to gain credit towards a qualification is also offered.
