NCEE commited to Thoroughbred industry
The National Centre for Equine Education (NCEE) is a leading specialist trainer with more than 20 years of experience in equine education and training within the Thoroughbred Breeding and Racing Industries.
The NCEE is committed to the continued development of a professional and productive Breeding Industry through quality training and skills development of staff and management on stud.
NCEE trainers are highly experienced with extensive backgrounds in breeding and racing, and understand the challenges and issues facing thoroughbred studs. Industry trainer, Ian Horwood says "The NCEE offers a range of training options to best meet the needs of individual studs. We train for all job roles, from stablehand and stud-hands through to Stud Managers, and arrange training sessions in the off-season to ensure minimal disruption to work practices."
"Training options include distance learning, workplace learning, on-line, one or two day intensive workshops, traineeships, part-time and full-time courses. We tailor the training to suit individual and employer requirements, and our aim is to ensure the training is practical and relevant to the Thoroughbred Industry's needs."
The NCEE is a specialist centre of Goulburn Ovens Institute of TAFE.
