Victorian Wakeful Club Equine Stud Nursing Scholarship

The Victorian Wakeful Club is generously awarding a prize of $500 to the most outstanding NCEE Certificate III Agriculture (Horse Breeding) student from the 2011 graduating class.

This prize is designed to give the winner support to further develop their knowledge and skills in the Thoroughbred Stud Industry, by providing them with a voucher to help them in undertaking further studies for example the Diploma of Horse Breeding (Stud Management).

Selection of the winner is based upon criteria of academic performance, practical industry skills and work ethic, attitude and general knowledge of the Thoroughbred Industry and Student Appraisals from the Horse Breeding teaching team and their workplace supervisor.

The prize is awarded to the student who displays a long term commitment to the Thoroughbred Breeding Industry, their own professional development and is the most likely to make a positive contribution to the Industry.

Applicants are interviewed by representatives from the Victorian Wakeful Club, the NCEE Commercial Manager and Equine Nursing Coordinator.

Applications close Wednesday 3rd November 2011.
