The National Centre for Equine Education (NCEE) is a specialist training centre established by GOTAFE. We offer student and equine industry training services, incorporating the performance, breeding, health and racing sectors. The horse industry contributes billions of dollars to the Australian economy. Our courses are designed to provide an entry point into the equine workforce. The skills and knowledge gained are sought after in Australia and internationally. We offer scholarships for further experience and training, the most notable being with the Irish National Stud in Ireland. Our students do their work placement in studs, stables and equine hospitals from southern Victoria through to the Hunter Valley region in NSW. You may have years of experience with horses, or none at all. Our trainers will talk to you about what you want and provide you with advice to help you get to where you want to be. We offer skills recognition, identifying areas you are already competent in through prior learning and on the job experience. That is tailored training to meet your needs and those of industry, whether for work or for pleasure.
